It’s back to more normality, we are open every day again.
We open daily at 12md
We close Monday to Friday at 10pm and Saturday 11pm and Sunday10pm
However if the weather is really bad or if there is no one in after 9.30pm weekdays and Sundays we could close earlier. So it is best to ring ahead if you are walking from the campsite late on to save a wasted journey.
We will serve meals from 12md - 2.45pm and 5pm - 8.30pm daily
We also serve takeaway meals from our menu, these are very popular on Sundays.

Milecastle Inn is a family run pub set within the beautiful Northumberland countryside just north of Haltwhistle and only 500 yards from Hadrian's Wall.
From Easter to October the pub is easily accessible by bus, alighting at the Cawfields/Milecastle Inn bus stop.
We have a casual, informal dining room with an emphasis on local, natural, seasonal & sustainable food, showcased over a wide and varied menu, which changes as the seasons evolve.
Unfortunately as our pub is quite small we cannot allow dogs inside the pub.
At the Milecastle Inn we serve good quality home-made food that showcases the best produce available from our North England and UK larder.
Our beers showcase the classics from the major breweries, alongside small producers and micro-brewers.
We can offer you a drink for any occasion and pleasantly surprise you with new and exciting beers that we have to offer with our excellent food.
We have a variety of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian meals on our menu and we can adjust some of our dishes to help with various allergies.
The Milecastle Inn also boasts two self-catering cottages that are available to rent. The cottages, located just behind the pub, each feature a sitting room with kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. To rent the cottages please go to AirBnB to make your booking.
