Light Up Hadrian's Wall
As part of British Tourism Week in March 2010, the wall's 84 mile (135 km) length will be illuminated by about 500 individual points of light.
The first will be lit at Wallsend on Tyneside, then make its way to Bowness-on-Solway in Cumbria an hour later.
The event will be filmed by helicopter, and people will be able view the line from a number of stewarded points.
Why not visit the Milecastle Inn for an early evening meal and then take in this spectacular event, scheduled to take place on 13th March 2010.
